I spent hours on the phone in 1986 trying to find Sampler Records 
after a CD magazine gave a wildly enthusiasticreview to"Ornaments". 
When I found Sampler, the company wasn't much more than a mailing list 
operated out of thecorner of one musician's home in Rochester, New York. 
Now Sampler has a data base and an 800 number, but themusic still shines 
with traditional tidings of comfort and joy. Ornaments includes medleys of 
French, German, and English carols and ends with a collection of dancing 
carols that will have you whirling around the room.
